I am frequently asked about the things I love. I decided that I’d give this a try – instead of responding to private messages, I would instead post the things I loved from the prior week and some notes about those items.
I have a goal to read one book every week. This could be Kindle, Audible, Hard Cover or Paper Back. Basically any format that one reads a book in. Last week, I finished the book “Do Less: A revolutionary Approach to Time and Energy Management for Busy Moms” by Kate Northrup.
I loved this book because it had actual research in it about the differences between how men work versus how women work. And then simply, easy to follow “experiments” to try your own hand at Doing Less. I loved this book so much that I’m hosting it in this month’s book club. If you’re local and want to participate, drop me a note for more details.
What would life be without treats! I discovered The Good Chocolate while passing through the San Diego airport after a particularly amazing Mastermind weekend. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful trip. (of course, I brought some home with me!)
I am loving this chocolate because it has great flavor, no sugar, no weird chemicals and no chalky after taste. This is real chocolate that tastes like real chocolate.
Pukka Herbal tea made it’s way into my house over the summer and I have become absolutely addicted. Too many to choose from so you will probably see a lot of Pukka in my favorites posts, but the one that got me hooked was the Chamomile, Vanilla, & Manuka Honey
You may be aware that I have a slight pen addiction. I also have an aversion to being wasteful and excess plastic in the environment…. this led to a quandary. How did I resolve this? Fountain pens. While you can absolutely buy really pricey pens, you can also buy affordable ones like this Pilot.
I love the elegance and ease of writing with these pens. The weight in my hand feels amazing. I carry mine everywhere.
